🚽 Wanna see a really old toilet?

September 17, 2026 · – Kelsey Bradshaw

🌮 Hello, hello! I’m back! Fun news: The New York Times named Paprika one of the 50 best restaurants in the U.S. to eat at right now. The taco joint is one of just two Texas restaurants that made the list!

Your Guide to Austin Museum Day

Austin Museum Day is one of my favorite local events. More than 35 museums in the area are offering free admission on Sunday! It’s a great way to check out an exhibit you’ve been meaning to see or try something new.

  • It’s easy. Austin Museum Day couldn’t be simpler to participate in. Pick a museum from this list and show up! CapMetro is offering free bus passes for the event, too. Just use this code: CM-26KB-HRWF. [Austin Museum Partnership]
  • Head to campus. Not sure where to start? Eight museums, including the Harry Ransom Center, LBJ Presidential Library and Museum, and the Briscoe Center for American History, are part of a Campus Crawl at the University of Texas at Austin. You can pick up a map at any of the participating spots. [Austin Museum Partnership]
  • Exhibits abound. I’m loving this guide to 10 cool and fun exhibits you can use Austin Museum Day to see. There’s Houdini memorabilia, screen printing at a Día de los Muertos exhibit, and a look at Juneteenth rodeos! [CultureMap Austin]
  • See an old toilet. Bullock Texas State History Museum has put Santa Anna’s chamber pot and snuff box on display ahead of Austin Museum Day. So, that’s something! [Austin American-Statesman]

🎥 I actually can’t stop thinking about Robert Pattinson’s upcoming movie “Primetime.” He plays Chris Hansen, the host of “To Catch A Predator” on Dateline NBC, and it looks really good!
