AFS Fundraising for a Third Screen

Austin Film Society is working to raise $250,000 for a third screen at the theater, which is in the Linc in North Austin. As of Tuesday morning, more than $112,200 had been raised. Filmmaker and AFS Founder Richard Linklater says the expansion will let the theater screen more new releases. [The Austin Chronicle]
