⛔ CBS pulled Talarico interview, Colbert says

🚧 Hi! I’ve got more trail news for ya: The pedestrian ramp to the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail along northbound Interstate 35 at Riverside Drive is now closed due to construction. The ramp won’t reopen until 2029, but the stairway to the pedestrian bridge is still open.

TxDOT Says U.S. 290 Is Safe Despite Crack
Images of a large crack on U.S. 290 over Interstate 35 went a bit viral online over the weekend. But Texas Department of Transportation officials say the road is safe to drive on and gaps can form on bridges as time goes on. [City Cast Austin 🎧]
APD Is Still Using License Plate Readers
Austin police are using data from other law enforcement agencies’ license plate reader cameras, just months after Austin City Council ended use of such technology. The cameras scan license plates and put the information into a searchable database. [KUT]
