📉 Crime at Local Parks Has Decreased With Cameras
Austin police have seen a drop in vehicle burglaries and other crimes at local parks since city officials installed cameras at some locations in 2022. The cameras were put in 15 parks as part of a pilot program. [KXAN]

The FIFA World Cup trophy is going on tour this spring and will be on display in Austin April 28-29 at Parmer Field, which is up near Wells Branch. [KVUE]
🏗️ City Weighing Proposal for 2 Towers Near UT Campus
A proposal to redevelop a block near The University of Texas at Austin for two new high rises goes before the Austin Design Commission today. One building would be 37 stories and the other would be 34 stories, and both would be located along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near 18th Street. [Austin Business Journal]
