🇺🇸 Hello, Tuesday! Today is Veteran’s Day and the city’s 69th annual parade starts at 9 a.m. on the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge. The parade is free to attend and ends at the Texas Capitol.

🎷 Antone’s Is Getting 50 More Years
The owners of Antone’s, the historic jazz club downtown, just signed a 50-year lease and have plans to create the Antone’s World Famous Museum of the Blues on the club’s second story. The museum is expected to open in 2027. [The Austin Chronicle]

The University of Texas at Austin has until next week to decide if they will enter a deal with the Trump Administration that could give the university greater access to federal funds in exchange for implementing policies outlined by the White House. ✂️ City Cuts Millions of Dollars in New Budget
After Proposition Q failed on Election Day, the city has to revamp and re-adopt its budget. The new budget calls for cuts including $5.2 million from the Parks and Recreation Department and $6 million from Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services. [KVUE]
