Congratulations to Kathie B. for guessing our last “Where Is This?” correctly! So many of you guessed where this photo was taken but only Kathie got it right! This is the Henry G. Madison cabin in Rosewood Park. The cabin was built in 1863 by Madison, Austin’s first Black City Council member. He was born into slavery in Tennessee before moving to Austin in the early 1860s.
