🔒 Zilker Park Closed Ahead of ACL Fest
Zilker Park’s great lawn is closed as Austin City Limits Music Festival workers prepare the area for the event next week. The park will reopen to the public on Oct. 20. [KVUE]
☹️ Despite Cold Front, Temps To Remain Hot
This week’s cold front was a bit disappointing. Instead of brisk autumn air that calls for sweaters and hot cocoa, we got high temperatures in the 90s. Unfortunately, we can expect more of that this weekend and into next week. [City Cast Austin 🎧]
✈️ Airport Allowing Waymo Testing
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport officials say Waymo, Uber’s autonomous vehicle service, has a testing permit to try out expanding operations to the airport. Waymo officials say the company is in active discussions with the airport. [KXAN]
