✈️ Why flights are cheap right now
July 14, 2025 · Kelsey Bradshaw
☺️ Happy Monday, y’all! Can I get a drum roll? Today we’re launching City Cast Austin Neighbors — our brand-new membership program for folks like you who love this city and want to see it thrive.
City Cast Austin Neighbors get great perks like ad-free podcast listening, a weekly roundup of all the best Austin events, and invites to members-only gatherings with our team.
But more than that, becoming a Neighbor means investing in the work we do — spotlighting the local conversations shaping our neighborhoods, and the neighbors dedicated to making our city better.
If City Cast Austin is part of your daily routine, this is your chance to be part of making it happen — and get some great perks!
Oh and did I mention we’ve got totes? Anyone who becomes a City Cast Austin Neighbor this week is getting an extra special tote as a thank you for supporting our work. 👀
And, in light of the recent devastating floods in Central Texas, we’re donating your first month of membership fees to the Austin Disaster Relief Network. By supporting City Cast Austin, you're also helping support our neighbors in need.

Where Is This?

Congratulations to Jessica P. for guessing my last “Where Is This?” correctly! This photo was taken at the new Bungalow on Rainey Street. The bar closed in 2022 to make way for new construction and reopened this year in the former Icenhauer’s location. The bar’s iconic “I hate you so much” mural is in the new spot.
Can you guess where this week’s photo was taken?
