💉 Measles Confirmed in Austin

Austin’s first case of measles has been confirmed in an unvaccinated infant who likely caught the disease while overseas, city officials announced. No exposures are expected – the infant’s family is vaccinated against the measles. [KXAN]

  • It’s the first case here since 2019. Statewide, there have been 148 cases of measles in the latest outbreak. [KUT]
