⚖️ NPR: ICE Arrested Cedar Park Teen Who Entered U.S. Legally
An 18-year-old in Cedar Park was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents last month, despite having come into the country through a legal process, his mother said. [NPR]
- Protestors on Wednesday were at the Texas Capitol to speak out against President Donald Trump’s policies, which include ramping up immigration-related arrests. The event was part of a national demonstration against Trump and Project 2025, a conservative plan to reshape the federal government. [KUT]

⚽ Women’s Sports Bar Acquires Location
A bar dedicated to women’s sports, aptly named “1972: ATX Women’s Sports Pub” after the year Title IX was signed into law, has acquired a space near the University of Texas at Austin. The owners plan to open the bar in time for March Madness. [KXAN]
