I did do a little gasp in my home when I saw this announcement: The Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin has acquired the work archive of Lorne Michaels, creator of “Saturday Night Live.” The archive includes rehearsal notes and scripts, and will open as a special exhibit on Sept. 20.
