This year’s meteorological fall, from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30, according to the National Weather Service, was the hottest on record. This fall saw an average temperature of 75.8 degrees, and the latest 100-degree day in history, with a high of 101 degrees recorded on Oct. 11. [KXAN]
