🇺🇲 The presidential race is officially over. Vice President Kamala Harris, who carried Travis County with 68.30% of the vote, conceded the race to Donald Trump on Wednesday. Harris spoke about continuing to work on the issues she ran her campaign on, including reproductive rights and gun violence.
“This is not a time to throw up our hands. This is the time to roll up our sleeves,” Harris said.

🗳️ Mayoral Race Waiting on Mail-In, Provisional Ballots To Be Called
Austin’s mayoral race is still too close to call — according to the Travis County Clerk, current mayor Kirk Watson held 50.05% of the vote on election night — and officials are waiting on mail-in, military, overseas, and provisional ballots to be counted before determining who won. Such ballots must be counted by Nov. 18. [KXAN]
