Head north of Austin to Round Rock’s Diwali Festival on Saturday, from 2 to 10 p.m. Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, marks the triumph of light over darkness, or good over evil. Round Rock’s free celebration at Centennial Plaza will feature lights, of course, as well as delicious food, fabulous music, cultural dancing, a sand art display, and a fashion show.
