💰 Travis County Adopts Budget
Travis County commissioners on Tuesday adopted a nearly $2 billion budget, which goes into effect Oct. 1. [KUT]
- Commissioners also approved Central Health’s $888 million budget and tax rate, which will cause the average Travis County homeowner’s property taxes to increase by $65.60. [Austin American-Statesman]
🎢 An Amusement Park at COTA? Yes.
Roughly $46 million has been raised to build an amusement park at Circuit of The Americas. The racetrack is seeking a total of $65 million for the park, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. [Austin Business Journal]
