Don't Go Gently, Go In Tecovas
There’s truly something for everyone in our Don’t Go Gently tip for this weekend — Sunday is the 27th annual Austin Museum Day, when it’s absolutely free to visit more than 30 area museums. Now of course, all of the well-known museums in town are participating, like the Bullock Texas State History Museum, the Blanton Museum of Art the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, and the LBJ Presidential Library, but you are also free to peruse through our lesser-known museums, like the Austin Museum of Popular Culture, the Texas Music Museum, and Save Austin’s Cemeteries. And, if you haven’t yet made it to the Texas Science & Natural History Museum, now’s your chance! Join the fun and be on the lookout for special activities and exhibits all throughout town. Don’t go gently, go in Tecovas!
