Robin Henderson, who served as interim Austin Police Chief since last summer, will return to her role as chief of staff under Lisa Davis. Davis had her first day as chief on Monday and is working to get her state-required peace officer’s license through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. [Austin American-Statesman]

🎭 State Theatre Renovation To Cost Millions
According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, renovations at the State Theatre, the smaller theater next door to the Paramount Theatre downtown, will cost $22 million. Construction is expected to start in March. [Austin Business Journal]
