Don't Go Gently, Go In Tecovas
Our Don’t Go Gently tip for this weekend is to head down to the Zilker Hillside Theater, 2206 William Barton Drive, for the last weekend of their free summer show, “Legally Blonde, the Musical.” Yes, the 2001 movie starring Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods, a blonde who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard, was turned into a musical. The theater has been hosting free summer productions since 1959, and this year’s is not one to miss.
The final shows are this weekend, Aug. 15-17, at 8:15 p.m. Pack a picnic, bring a chair or a blanket, pull on your favorite pair of Tecovas, and get out there!
