🌈 Your guide to Pride is here

August 9, 2024 · Kelsey Bradshaw

💸 Happy Friday! The sun is shining and tax-free weekend starts today! I don’t miss the stress of tests and homework, but I do miss buying fresh school supplies every fall. So, you might see me buying some notebooks this weekend while they’re tax-free!

Thank you to Tecovas, our exclusive launch sponsor and Western wear favs for their support!

Don't Go Gently, Go In Tecovas

This week, for our first Don’t Go Gently into the weekend tip, we recommend heading out to Community First Village for their final movie night of the season. Catch the flick starring Austinite Glen Powell, “Fall Guy,” for free at Community First’s amphitheater, and help support the neighborhood that provides housing for Austinites struggling with homelessness. Residents of Community First are paid a living wage to work the A/V equipment and concession stand. Get there on Friday evening well before showtime at 8 p.m. to stake your spot, and don’t forget your blanket or camping chairs.
