The two finalists in the running to be the next Austin Police Department Chief will be at a public meet-and-greet on July 23 at 6 p.m. at Palmer Events Center. Narrowed from a pool of 32, it’s now down to Cincinnati Police Department Assistant Chief Lisa Davis and Milwaukee Police Department Chief Jeffrey Norman. [Austin American-Statesman]
