In the latest legal action surrounding the Robb Elementary School mass shooting in Uvalde in 2022, families of the survivors have sued UPS and FedEx, accusing the companies of breaking federal and state law in shipping a rifle and trigger accessories to the gunman. [The Texas Tribune]

This is what the founding fathers dreamt of – the biggest Buc-ee’s in the whole world is now open in Luling, which is roughly one hour southeast of Austin. The new gas station has 120 gas pumps and spans a whopping 75,000 square feet, edging out the formerly largest Buc-ees (in Tennessee) by 1,000 square feet. 😫 Rolling Blackouts Possible This Summer
Will there ever be a day when seeing the acronym “ERCOT” doesn’t send me into an anxiety spiral? The Electric Reliability Council of Texas said in a report this month that there’s a 12% chance that Texas will need to use rolling power blackouts and a 16% chance of having a grid emergency in August.
