🔎 UT Investigating Student Protestors
University of Texas officials are investigating and may discipline students who were arrested this spring during pro-Palestine protests. The university sent letters to at least six students saying they may have violated two rules – failing to comply with university directives, and disrupting teaching and learning. [KUT]

With the Marshalling Yard Temporary Emergency Shelter’s pending December closure, the city is exploring private real estate spaces that could fill the gap and serve as a homeless shelter in March. [Austin Monitor]
❌ Attempt To Remove Travis County DA Garza Fizzles Out
The Bell County Attorney who was appointed to hear evidence against Travis County District Attorney José Garza filed a motion to dismiss the suit over the weekend. An investigation found that Garza’s office did not refuse to prosecute certain crimes, a key allegation in the lawsuit. [Austin American-Statesman]
